Griffin Security Group are pleased to announce that, through our partners in Saudi Arabia, Al EBDA AlThulathi for Trading (license no. 05013770), we have been officially certified by Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Interior and the High Commission for Industrial Security Directives (HCIS) to undertake Industrial Security and Critical Infrastructure Projects in the Kingdom.
The accreditation, which was granted by the Ministry of Interior’s Central Licensing Unit, and will see Griffin working closely on security projects in sensitive sectors related to petroleum and petrochemicals, water and electricity, industrial services and communications.
Griffin Security Group and its experts can now provide the best expertise and consultancy services for projects in Saudi Arabia that require HCIS approval.
In 2010, the High Commission for Industrial Security Directives (HCIS) in conjunction with the Ministry of Interior standardized protocols for industrial security installations within the Kingdom. Their objective was to ensure proper risk mitigation and to pre-qualify companies who demonstrate the necessary skills, technologies and capabilities to implement complex integrated security systems for oil and gas, petrochemical and power plants as outlined by HCIS.
In order to qualify to bid, win or execute any Industrial Security or CIP Project, contractors must be listed by the Central Licensing Unit (CLU) as an approved company. The CLU controls and monitors approved Industrial Security vendors prior to them signing contracts for work in the above mentioned sectors.
